Job Title: Restaurant Manager 

We are looking for Restaurant Manager for our Indian Vegetarian restaurant.

Duties and responsibilities:

  1. Recruiting, training and supervising staff
  2. Manage reservations and customer reviews; develop a good rapport with regular and new customers.
  3. The restaurant serves between 800 – 900 covers during the week and 1200+ covers during the weekend, so ideally experienced in a very busy restaurant and knows how to manage crowds. Agreeing and managing budgets
  4. Planning menus
  5. Ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety legislation/guidelines
  6. Overseeing stock levels
  7. Ordering supplies
  8. Producing staff rotas
  9. Handling customer enquiries and complaints
  10. Taking reservations
  11. Greeting and advising customers
  12. Problem solving
  13. Preparing and presenting staffing/sales reports
  14. Keeping statistical and financial records
  15. Assessing and improving profitability
  16. Setting targets and handling administration and paperwork
  17. Liaising with customers, employees, suppliers, licensing authorities and sales representatives
  18. Making improvements by promoting and marketing the business and developing the restaurant.

Salary: 24,000 to 26,000 Gross Per Annum


  1. Experience working in Indian Restaurant and Fluent in one or more Indian Languages.
  2. At least 3 plus year of experience working in Indian Restaurant as a restaurant Manager.
